Setting up Outlook 2010 (XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7)

Open up Microsoft Outlook either from the desktop, or from the start menu usually listed under ‘All Programs’.

Click on the ‘File’ menu, and then click on ‘Account Settings’.

This brings up a drop-down menu, where you need to click ‘Account Settings…’ again.

Choose ‘E-mail Account’, and click ‘Next’.

Choose ‘Manually configure server settings…’ and click ‘Next’.

Choose ‘Internet E-mail’, and click ‘Next’.

Type in your name (However you’d like it displayed), and full e-mail Address.
Leave the account type as POP3.
Next to incoming and outgoing mail servers, type ‘mail.cass.net’.
Leave the username as-is, and type in your password.
Click ‘More Settings’ down at the bottom right.

Click on the ‘Outgoing Server’ tab.
Check the checkbox for ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’, then click ‘OK’.

Click ‘Next’, and then ‘Finish’. Email is now set up, and ready to go.
